Event Planning & Decorating

I'm an avid event & festival planner and decorator. With experience on several festival committees and other cultural organizations, I can make a huge impact on your organization and its events. Event logistics are almost second nature to me now allowing things run smoothly, however, I'm not afraid to put in the extra effort or time to help an event go off without a hitch and look and operate professionally. Being creative and crafty, I'm well versed in high-quality, low-budget decorating, though I do also have experience with a larger budget.

Event Examples

These events were created as a children's event around the holidays, planned, decorated, and executed by myself. Included a show, photos with santa, crafts, balloons or glitter tattoos, a gift, and more. 

Storybook Events Snow Ball 2022/23

These children's events were planned, decorated, and executed by myself. Included a princess show, catered high tea, crafts, a gift, and other activities. They were a great success.

Storybook Events Tea Party 2023/24

Via my position at Storybook Events, I planned and executed decor for this event, and assisted in additional event logistics year after year. A variety of decor items are available for rent via me or Storybook. 

Toyota Christmas Event 2022/23/24

Completed decor and assisted in planning for my grandma's 90th Birthday. This decor is all made up of items I own and rent. 

90th Birthday

I assisted in the wedding decor planning and execution - located at the Water Tower Inn in Sault Ste. Marie. The majority of items used are items I own for rent.

Via my event planning position at Storybook Events, I planned, decorated, and executed all of these events including all prep. Events included a combo of children, family and staff events.
